Celebrating Pink Saturday with Knock-out Roses

I've planted pink Knock-out Roses in tall urns on my deck. I've been using hibiscus here for the past two summers, but the squirrels tip-toe onto the deck...yes, they tip-toe, they know they are doing a bad thing...and they completely strip off all the leaves on my hibiscus. After two summers in a row of that nonsense, it was time to try something new.

So, this year, it's Knock-out Roses...and these babies have thorns! Haven't seen any squirrels! :-) For BNOTP Facebook fans...yep, I had Mandevilla here a week or so ago, but I was missing the topiary/tree shape. So I transplanted the Mandevilla to a different location. You'll be seeing those later in a future tablescape. :-)

Oh, I should have put the cushions in the chairs before I took this pic. Imagine pretty, dark green cushions with little stripes in the chairs. ;-)

I took "blue hour" pics this evening. This Monday, for Met Monday, I will share my new blue hour pics along with blue hour pics you've sent in. You guys have been having fun capturing the Blue Hour! If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, click HERE to read last week's MM post.

To see when the "blue hour" arrives in your area of the country/world, click HERE.

If you would like to share your Blue Hour pics with BNOTP visitors/fans, send them to me at betweennapsontheporchatgmail.com, tonight or tomorrow, and I'll publish them in my Met Monday post, giving you credit, of course. :-) You can even take some tomorrow night and send them tomorrow evening and I'll include them in the MM post that will go up Sunday evening.

Have a blessed Mother's Day! See you on Sunday evening for Met Monday!
